When is the deadline for nominations?

The deadline for newlyweds to vote for their favourite wedding suppliers is midnight of 31st July 2025.

When will the shortlist be announced?

​

The shortlist will be announced on Monday 25th August 2025. Businesses shortlisted will receive a confirmation email from the Your Scottish Wedding Awards team.

What if my wedding couples miss the deadline, what will happen with their nomination?

​

If any of your wedding couples put your nomination through on Friday 1st August, this will go towards your nomination for 2025.

How many companies will be shortlisted in each category?

​

The number of shortlisted companies will be based on the quality and quantity of entries. Likewise, if a category has a poor quality or low number of entries, Your Scottish Wedding Awards reserve the right to remove a category or place entrants into a more suitable category. The expectation would be between three and up to ten for most categories with a couple of categories such as celebrants, photography and venues being the exception with up to a maximum of 20 within any one region as these categories have high nominations volumes.

What size of business can be nominated?

The size of the business doesn't matter; businesses will be shortlisted dependent on the strength of your customer scores and ranking and through the customer service skills provided. You can be a business of any size with results based on the score average. Your business needs to have been trading for one year as a sole trader or limited business.

Who can nominate my company?

The bride or groom can nominate your company and only one nomination per wedding will be valid. You the business cannot nominate on behalf of your wedding couple as this nomination will be rendered invalid.

Where will the Award Ceremony be?

The awards evening will take place at DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central, 36 Cambridge Street, Glasgow, G2 3HN.
